Mosquito semen to control dengue

Combining whole-organism isotope labeling with a proteomics approach, researchers identified 93 seminal fluid proteins and 52 predicted sperm proteins involved in the reproduction of the mosquito Aedes aegypti, a dengue fever vector. These proteins could become targets to control mosquito populations that spread the disease. (more detail)
