postdoctoral fellows through the Postdoctoral Excellence in Research and
Training (PERT) program (
http://cis.arl.arizona.edu/Pert/)
and graduate students through the Graduate Interdisciplinary Program in
Entomology and Insect Science (GIDP-EIS; http://insects.arizona.edu/).
The successful candidate is expected to
participate actively in the GIDP-EIS; to develop and teach courses at the
graduate and undergraduate levels; and to mentor students, including those from
underrepresented backgrounds. The successful candidate will also participate in
outreach; contribute to department, college, and university service; and will
develop innovative approaches for enhancing student engagement, increasing
